Fresh air, circus fun and plenty of room to move!

Circus in the park takes circus skills outdoors for a fun, hands-on session filled with movement, challenges, laughter and plenty of chances to discover new skills.

Children can explore, practise and see what they can do in a relaxed setting. Some things might click straight away, others might take a few tries. That’s all part of the adventure!

There’s no competition, no pressure to perform and no previous circus skills required. It’s simply a chance to get outside, be active, spend time with others and enjoy the fun of circus skills.

Come with a friend, bring a sibling or arrive ready to meet some new faces. Circus in the Park is all about moving, playing, learning and enjoying a great day outdoors.

Held at selected parks and ovals, sessions may be offered during school holidays, weekends and selected dates throughout the year.

What to Expect

Move. Play. Practise. Laugh. Repeat!

Each session gives participants plenty of time to explore circus skills and movement in a welcoming outdoor environment.

They can challenge themselves, practise something until it starts to click, move between activities and enjoy the excitement of discovering what they can do.

The focus is on fun, participation and building confidence, rather than getting everything perfect.

Whether their bursting with confidence or prefer to take their time, children are encouraged to enjoy circus in a way that works for them.

Grown-Ups, You’re Part of the Day Too!

A parent or responsible adult must stay with their child for the duration of the session.

Find yourself a spot nearby, enjoy the atmosphere and cheer them on from the sidelines while they explore.

Children remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult throughout the workshop.

Ready for the Day?

A few simple things will help keep everyone comfortable outdoors.

Comfortable clothes, closed in shoes, water bottle, hat and sunscreen.

As Circus in the Park is an outdoor activity, the workshop may need to be changed or rescheduled if weather conditions aren’t suitable. Booked participants will be advised of any changes.
